We are currently looking for a Quality Coordinator for Strategic Sourcing who can help colleagues understand and operate within the Novo Nordisk quality management system and facilitate and coordinate activities within Quality Management processes which provides the unit with both internal and external license to operate. About the department Strategic Sourcing is the central sourcing unit in Novo Nordisk’s Product Supply division, responsible for the medium and long term strategic sourcing activities, which involves global identification and management of suppliers for Novo Nordisk’s worldwide pharmaceutical production sites. You will be part of Business Support, where we drive cross-unit projects and contribute with value-adding quality, financial, commercial and market intelligence support to the other 5 departments in Strategic Sourcing. You will enter a fast-paced and ambitious environment where we collaborate closely with stakeholders inside as well as outside Strategic Sourcing. You will be located in Bagsværd, where 10 competent colleagues look forward to welcoming you to the Business Support team. The job Your primary focus is to ensure a high compliance level in Strategic Sourcing. You will collaborate closely with the Quality Area Specialist and the Quality Project Manager as well as procurement professionals and management in Strategic Sourcing, and the supporting Quality Assurance (QA) organization. As Quality Coordinator you coordinate many of the quality management processes inherent to a strategic sourcing function in a pharmaceutical company. Furthermore, you will identify and make improvements of how the processes are managed in Strategic Sourcing. That includes preparation of Quality Management Review, Quality Activity Planning, training in the Quality Management System, and coordination of the unit’s preparation for involvement in audits and inspection. A smaller part of your responsibilities will be to support your colleagues in update of a relative low number SOPs, and support or execute a equally low number of CAPA, QAP, NC and CR cases. For new quality activities you will drive smaller projects and ensure implementation and training of colleagues. You will report to Senior Manager Strategic Sourcing Business Support, while your area of involvement covers the entire Strategic Sourcing unit and its many stakeholders. Qualifications A combination of strong communication skills and a well-developed quality mind-set enables you to put the importance of product quality, patient safety and compliance on your sourcing colleagues’ agenda. You hold an academic degree in pharmaceutical science, business, engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of experience. You may have a Quality Assurance background from a drug/device/procurement area, and look for a role in an organization where you get to work with a broad spectrum of quality processes. Experience with Quality Management Reviews, Quality Activity Planning, audit and inspection preparation and coordination may also offer a smooth entry into the job. Among the more general competencies relevant to the position are strong coordination skills, which you are able to apply in working relations in friendly and helpful way. You are fluent in written and spoken English, and have good presentation skills. You are known for a high commitment to your assignments, have a structured approach to work, attention to details and are good at applying logical reasoning on tasks and challenges. Your comfort in use of IT systems and MS office (incl. Outlook, Power point and Excel) allow you to handle complex data and turn it into nicely understandable messages.
