If yes, then you have to be a part of the Supply Chain team at Novo Nordisk Pharmatech A/S.

 

About the department 

Novo Nordisk Pharmatech A/S is a wholly owned subsidiary of Novo Nordisk A/S, located in Køge. We produce auxiliaries for Novo Nordisk A/S as well as active substances (APIs) and auxiliaries for the global pharmaceutical market. We are today approx. 190 employees in the company.

The supply chain team is responsible for sourcing raw materials for production, production planning and in general driving the supply chain across the organization in becoming more robust, effective and efficient while ensuring compliance. Our dynamic team of seven employees is looking for a purchaser to cover a maternity leave in the department. This position is therefore limited to a 12-month hire.

 

The position 

You will take part of the daily business in the purchase unit and have a core role in securing the correct level of available raw materials with the correct quality to ensure that production will be running according to plan. Every year, the company is visited by auditors that go through our quality system and you will be representing the purchase unit in this context. There can be some travel activities in connection with supplier audits and attendance at conferences. 

You will also, in close collaboration with employees across the company run change requests and handle nonconformities to ensure a consistent and high GMP level. You will manage the relation to suppliers regarding complaints and deviations from agreed standards. We are obligated to maintain the purchase documentation and assess quality of raw materials for production, which must fulfil applicable GMP requirements. This will be one of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you must handle the yearly supplier evaluation with focus on quality, logistic performance and price. 

 

Qualifications 

You have a background as a pharmacist, supply chain professional, engineer or a similar academic education. It will be an advantage if you have experience with quality assessment of pharmaceutical raw materials as well as experience with developing and structuring supplier collaboration through for example Supplier Quality Agreements. 

You are a high performer that works in a structured way and has the drive to work independently with the capability to prioritize task to reach the deadlines. Furthermore, you have the energy and the ideas to challenge everyday tasks with a LEAN approach, contributing to the optimization of the procurement process. 

Your communication skills make it natural for you to create close relations with many people and professional groups. You will be facing a busy and changing work environment where the initiated daily tasks can be reprioritized if something more urgent comes up and our input is needed. You contribute to the positive atmosphere in the team and are ready to take up new challenges with a smile.
