Alfa Laval Copenhagen A/S, Engineering & Supply is responsible for engineering and managing customer projects with a wide range of industries worldwide. Alfa Laval PEPSegment looking for Project Manager to manage and lead new product Development projects for expanding our product portfolio offerings in Market. You will be running Projects from concept design to Product Launch in close collaboration with Market Units, Sales Companies. Projects will be handled as per Alfa Laval internal Project Management Methodologies. You will handle small virtual project team based globally. You will interact between large cross-disciplinary teams locally and externally. You can expect around 25 travel days a year. Skills and Experience Required 5 years project management experience Proven track record of delivering projects on time, on spec, and within budget Excellent estimating, scheduling & budgeting skills Ability to independently identify and resolve project issues Proven experience in influencing and leading Proven experience in risk and change management Excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills Self-motivated, with a strong personal drive Engineering degree, preferable with a PMA certification Key tasks Manage new product development projects with high complexity and size within the O&G, Power, Mining & Refinery industries Oversee and execute assigned product development projects, consistent with the strategy of the Segment and within the resource capability Advise business management and executives about the status and resource loading of assigned product development projects across the Segment Plan, direct, and ensure the successful outcome of product development projects utilizing the assigned project teams, as well as standards, practices, and tool-sets established within the organisation Add innovations to tools and documentation that will quickly validate compliance of our solutions with industry codes and project standards Ensure that Gate Reviews are conducted according to the standardized expectations for completion by phase Ensure that individual project budgets reconcile with the overall approved budget and forecasted product development spent Drive internal standardisation/Modularisation, competitiveness and process improvement projects.
