Alfa Laval employs 17.500 employees based in in all regions of the world. The Global Transport team is responsible for all freight agreements within Alfa Laval across countries and divisions. The team has a high degree of contact with external service providers, Alfa Laval production and distribution sites, Sales Companies globally as well as corporate functions. We are looking for a new Project Manager based in Søborg, Denmark. Your responsibilities •Preparation of transportation tenders. •Conducting contract negotiations and nominations. •Implementation and maintenance of contracts in close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders •Building and maintaining professional relationships with logistics and transportation service providers. •Running supply chain and carbon footprint improvement projects. •Consolidation and analysis of performance, turnover and environmental statistics. •Updating of freight and transit time calculation tool. Your personal profile & qualifications You have profound logistics and transportation with minimum 3 years experience from an international company or from within the freight forwarding industry. You understand the mechanics of all transportation industries but maintain the strategic perspective. You excel as a project manager and thrives working on numerous projects at the same time. Lean Six Sigma experience will be an advantage. You are a self-starter and self-motivator but enjoy succeeding as a team. Fluency in English is a requirement.
