Are you ready to support and assist highly skilled Project Managers? Do have the ability to continuously drive change management and are you an excellent communicator with hands-on project management experience? Vestas is looking for a strong Project Assistant to join the skilled and experienced project team in Vestas Shared Service Center. The position is a 12 months temporary project employment. Finance/Shared Service Center The project team within Shared Service Center is responsible for managing a range of multidisciplinary programs and projects related to business transformation and enabling of shared services across Vestas' value chain. The team delivers sustainable and cost-efficient solutions while at the same time maintaining a solid business performance. The projects are managed through structured project and change management drawing on a skilled multi-cultural workforce of project managers with thorough experience and capabilities. The project team is also responsible for setting and improving the standards and processes by which the projects are facilitated. Responsibilities: The key responsibilities include: Assist project managers in business casing, planning and executing projects and work packages Take ownership in documenting project deliverables and status (compiling reports and maintaining project logs, etc.) Support project managers in ensuring delivery within time, quality and cost targets Assist project managers in managing sufficient change and stakeholder management Facilitate alignment between interdependent projects and work packages across project portfolio Assist project managers in developing and implementing best practice project processes Contribute to Project Management expertise growth and proactively share lessons learned Take shared responsibility in driving good communication management Support project managers in business case compilation and project risk management Qualifications: The successful candidate can be a newly graduated with a master level degree in Business and/or Engineering.This person has also: Hands on Project Management experience and exposure to project oriented cultures and organizations Experience with structured project management like DMAIC, PRINCE2, 6-Sigma and gate models would be an advantage Ability to continuously drive change management in the respective organizations – across BUs, functions and cultures Ability to enhance stakeholder collaboration through dialogue, communication, transparency and integration – Know how to establish and develop successful relations with stakeholders (Externally and Internally) Exposure to multi-culture and international organizations is preferred Competencies: Certified Project Manager is preferred (PRINCE2, IPMA, PMP, etc.) Strong communicator – verbal and in written Thorough experience in usage of Microsoft Office applications is required Fluent in English - written and oral Good analytical skills are required Business acumen and flair Proactive team player Self-motivated and target driven - proactive and enthusiastic with good attention to detail and willingness to take ownership Enjoy changing environments and flexible working hours throughout the lifetime of the projects Relentless in relation to pursue sustainable results and business impact - whatever it takes!
