About the department You will join Durable Device Product Maintenance in Hillerød. We are responsible for maintaining and improving the design and manufacturing processes of Novo Nordisk’s price-winning injection pens and of combination products. You will have 15 skilled, dedicated and motivated colleagues, counting Technical Engineers, System Responsibles and Projects Managers. Our team is newly established and our ambitious goal is to change the way we perform product maintenance of our durable and combination devices. The job As Product Responsible you are maintenance responsible product owner of a portfolio of Novo Nordisk’s combination products such as NovoSeven® and NovoEight®. As such, your focus is to build a state-of-the-art maintenance setup with a high level of compliance in a challenging field at the cross-road between drugs and devices. Proactive maintenance is a key word for your efforts. The daily work will include actions to improve products on the market and all efforts will affect end users as soon as implemented. You own your devices’ total design, while external suppliers own the component design and technical file, and you assess the criticality of the situation from customer complaints, from change requests or non-conformities from the packaging line. Furthermore, you evaluate the design changes from the external suppliers and you play an important role in audits and inspections. You can look forward to shaping a role with high impact on the end products that reach the patient. You will also get the chance to interact with a large number of contacts including internal packaging lines, external suppliers, regulatory affairs, customer service and affiliates. Qualifications You have an academic degree as Engineer, Chemist, Pharmacist or related field supplemented with experience from working with similar tasks in a highly regulated industry like pharma, space, aviation, automotive or the like. You can see your part of a project in the bigger picture and still be able to perform in-depth analyses. You know how to make risk assessments (FMECA). To succeed, it is vital that you can establish an open and constructive dialogue to a large number of contacts. You must be able to cope with being challenged by your stakeholders and balance when to stand your ground and when to compromise in order to find the best possible solutions in the organisational setup.
