Being part of a matrix organization, you will have several cross-functional interfaces and your responsibilities will include some travel. The position is located in Europe, preferably Nordborg, Denmark. Responsible for product planning, development and marketing As Product Portfolio Marketing Manager, your objective is to provide the strategic direction on our Portfolio for the work function Motors. In doing so, you formulate long-term plans, keep the organization focused on market needs as well as manage pricing, promotion and placement of the products throughout their lifecycle. You will be working closely with Sales & Marketing, R&D and Business Unit Sales colleagues to initiate and coordinate actions. Moreover, you collaborate with Engineering on product specifications and new product development, and with Market Communication regarding product-specific marketing material. Finally, you act as go-to person for cross-functional activities within Danfoss Power Solutions. Your responsibilities and tasks will be to: • identify target markets and customer segments for Motor • define product roadmaps in alignment with stakeholders • act as launch owner in the project execution process – from specification to implementation • take ownership for the competitor landscape analysis at portfolio level • define and communicate value propositions for products and services • provide support to sales, including participating in customer visits Solid technical and commercial background • You have a degree in engineering, preferably with an additional degree in marketing • This is paired with 5+ years’ experience within the industry • You have detailed knowledge of hydraulic component systems and applications • You have extensive knowledge of our target markets and applications Working in a matrix organisation, you need to be team-oriented and have excellent collaboration skills. You will be part of a technically driven organization and accordingly, your ability to understand markets and your passion about the products is essential.
