Then you could be the Product Manager we are looking for in Danfoss Power Electronics within VLT Drives to assist us in elevating our focus on the future setup within functional safety. We are situated in Gråsten close to the German border and only a 20-minute drive from Flensburg. Ensuring market growth through efficient product management execution As a Product Manager it will be your overall responsibility to ensure that our functional safety products have a solid and robust design, a high quality level and are competitive throughout the entire product life cycle. You collaborate with product management teams across Danfoss PE’s VLT business segments (Industry, HVAC and Food & Beverage) in order to support the entire product line. You will be the key player who among other things: •Manages and supports our product portfolio related to functional safety •Supports customer specific requests for product enhancements •Supports the global sales organisation in project/product sales and applications •Participates in product development projects representing our customers •Provides market feedback for new product specifications and product improvements •Develops launch strategies for new products and features in coordination with other global functions and supports the sales organisation in launching them •Facilitates the development of technical literature, training material and supporting documentation •Provides business cases for new products to support the business segment’s long term growth strategy With your highly proactive and structured approach to your work we rely on you to be our spearhead towards new products and product changes utilising our unique features. Engineer with commercial flair and solid product management experience You have a bachelor’s or a master’s degree in electrical engineering combined with substantial experience from product management within automation applications working with functional safety as focal point. Furthermore, you are able to quickly and intuitively spot product trends within the industry and have a strong customer focus. You are structured and proactive, and you are a skilled team player who easily navigates between a diverse group of colleagues. You are a holistic and fact based, pragmatic decision maker and you understand how to work in a global company with many different cultures. Last but not least, you both have the capacity and desire for personal and professional growth. Fluency in written and spoken English is a prerequisite for this position and you should expect approx. 20-30 traveling days per year.
