We have a fantastic opportunity for a Process Engineer to join our successful team at the Innovation Centre in Soeborg. As Process Engineer you will be part of the self-governing innovation centre, but at the same time your main tasks will, among other things, involve a close contact to our sales department, technical department and project department. The tasks will comprise participation in pilot trials to optimise processes, collection of information to work out thermal calculations and preparation of standard process descriptions on the basis of the pilot trials. The pilot trials will be carried out with as well as without the presence of customers and will concern optimisation of recipes and process parameters for margarine (table margarine; puff pastry margarine low fat spread etc.), shortening and fine food. Responsibilities will include the planning and carrying out of pilot tests, sales support in projects relating to emulsification and crystallization technology, when required. Technological support by commissioning, claims, trouble-shooting, pilot plants and customer test, thermal calculation of SSHE (scrape surface heat exchanger). Keeping up to date with the field of fat and oil, including patent applications as well as participating or being a guest speaker at conferences around the world. You will be analytical and systematic and service-minded with a flexible approach. Moreover, you will have a good balance of being detail-oriented, and able to build good relationships with the team and customers alike. You will be a natural problem solver and be able to work on your own and as part of a team. You are likely to have a Master’s Degree in Dairy technology or food technologist with a strong back ground in bakery, margarine or fine food business. It will be an advantage to have work experience in either the bakery processing or margarine processing industry. As English is our corporate language, you will need to be at business proficiency level.
