Applications are invited for a 3-year PhD scholarship in Corporate Sustainability based sourcing at the Center for Sustainable Engineering Operations Management, University of Southern Denmark. The position is available from March 1, 2016 or as soon as possible thereafter. The Center for Sustainable Engineering Operations Management is part of the Department of Technology of Innovation located in Odense. We seek candidates with research interests in the following areas: • Corporate sustainability • Sustainable Supply chain management • Dynamic capabilities Depending on the research area the candidate should have a (strong) background in organizational theoretical aspects and modeling aspects of sustainable supply chain. Experiences in multi criteria decision analysis and mathematical modeling will be advantageous. The candidate must have a Bachelor and Master degree in Engineering within Industrial / Manufacturing Engineering Management or a related topic. The candidate is expected to collaborate with local and international companies and with local and international researchers. Thus, proficiency in English both in writing and speaking is expected. Enrollment and employment ends automatically by the end of the period. The holder of the fellowship is not allowed to have other paid employment during the three-year period.
