- Research Scientist - Denmark - Måløv Do you want to use your experience within pharmacokinetics and be part of the development of new therapies for the treatment of diabetes, obesity and hemostasis? Then come and join our department, Development DMPK - PKPD. About the department We are a highly motivated department striving to provide and integrate non-clinical and clinical pharmacokinetic project support from late-stage discovery and throughout clinical development. Together with other departments in Non-Clinical Development we conduct non-clinical studies and prepare the safety assessment for our new drug candidates to support clinical development. For projects in clinical development we are closely collaborating with clinical pharmacologists, statisticians and medical directors to integrate physiological based interpretation of PKPD data. The department currently comprises a PKPD team of 9 scientists and an ADME team of 12 scientists/technicians, all working together in an open, challenging and cross-functional environment. The job You will design, conduct and report on pharmacokinetic studies on drug candidates, as well as prepare DMPK scientific strategies in the development projects. Collaboration with a variety of internal stakeholders in the R&D organisation as well as with Contract Research Organisations will be an integral part of your work. As part of the interdisciplinary non-clinical and clinical project teams you will be responsible for delivering, interpreting and presenting pharmacokinetic data according to project timelines and provide input to regulatory documents. You will be working in a GLP regulated environment with a quality based mindset. Qualifications A Master or Ph.D. degree in a DMPK-related field followed by at least 6 years of relevant experience from academia or the pharmaceutical industry is preferred. Experience with common pharmacokinetics and modelling software solutions, e.g. WinNonlin/Phoenix/NLME, will be an advantage. We expect you to be ambitious, self-motivated and to have the ability to maintain the overview of many simultaneous tasks. Excellent collaborative and communicative skills are required.
