Exiqon is a life science company with a strong computational focus located in Vedbaek, Denmark. We are looking for a student to join our Bioinformatics team. Exiqon Bioinformatics develops web based analysis and assay design services that help Life Science researchers get both fast and reliable answers to important research challenges. We set a pride in the performance of our products. The position Your primary tasks will be to participate in the development of our web based NGS analysis tools, cloud based services and tools for design of custom expression and functional analysis products. This includes programing tasks, database maintenance and system work. You will be part of a team of highly qualified bioinformaticians, researchers and system developers developing advanced solutions for the life sciences industry. We expect you to have ? - Good programming skills in Ruby and PostgreSQL (or equivalent languages). ? - Experience with Linux. ? - Knowledge of RoR, JS and AngularJS. ? - Time to work 10-15 hours a week. ? - An excitement for science and research.
