This is a unique opportunity to play an important role in treatment of people with diabetes in Denmark. In this role you will contribute to the development of the Diabetes portfolio by building and communicating scientific knowledge in the Danish Diabetes therapy area. Since this will be in close dialogue with Danish HCPs it is a qualification criteria to speak and write Danish fluently. About the department:
You will be employed by the Novo Nordisk Danish affiliate based in Copenhagen. As Medical Advisor you will be part of a dynamic team of four dedicated Medical Advisors. You will work in Medical Affairs which is part of the Clinical, Medical & Regulatory (CMR) department. Medical Affairs is responsible for the medical and scientific dialogue that supports the conduct of clinical trials and the appropriate use of current and future innovative treatments.
The job:
As a Medical Advisor you will report to the Head of Medical Affairs. Your main responsibility will be to provide medical and scientific support to key customers and key stakeholders. You will be working cross-functional with clinical, marketing, market access and sales to develop the overall strategy for our portfolio and be instrumental in medical activities i.e. advisory board meetings, clinical-medical partnership and education seminars for health care providers.
You will be responsible for building strong long-standing relationships with key stakeholders within the diabetes community with the aim of ensuring optimal delivery of scientific information to the Medical community, ultimately leading to better treatment for patients with diabetes.
Qualifications:
You hold a Medical degree. Knowledge and experience within diabetes in combination with strong business interest is an advantage. Ideally you have experience from a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry. Research experience is an advantage.
