As Maximo Architect you will join O&M Technical Operations, a fast-paced department based at FLSmidth’s headquarters in Valby, Denmark. You will be working with our sites in North Africa and Sub-Sahara and have close interaction with our Maximo Specialists in our competency centre in Egypt. Detailed Description Optimise and implement the procedures of our assess management system Your main responsibility will be to optimise current procedures handled by Maximo, and as such you will play a key role assisting and coordinating with your fellow Maximo Specialists at O&M sites worldwide. In summary, you will: . optimise and implement maintenance management, inventory management and procurement management at present and upcoming O&M sites . assist the development of Maximo’s system architecture . contribute to implementing relevant KPIs in Maximo within the maintenance, inventory and procurement areas . promote and facilitate knowledge sharing between O&M in Denmark and the O&M sites This job will give you ample opportunities to become acquainted with new developments and features of Maximo, which might be part of future deployments at various sites. Job Requirements Maximo Specialist with solid experience of software system development As a minimum you hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline, which you have supplemented with solid experience of software system development. Furthermore, your resume displays: . specialist skills in Maximo and system architecture . preferably knowledge of version 7.5 (Asset Management, Work Order) SAP or similar computerised maintenance management system . experience designing and deploying large scale Java-based enterprise solutions . experience creating technical documentation and working with various architectural styles and patterns, e.g. N-Tier/Layered . knowledge of J2EE technologies, including Servlets/EJB/JSP/JMS, and of web protocols/XML/web services . strong knowledge of relational databases and data modelling As a person you must possess good analytical and communication skills and be observant to time management. Being flexible and dynamic are key traits of your personality, and you are willing to travel 40-60 days a year.
