Our Offshore Service Business is expanding its activities and thus facing exciting challenges at our Global head office in Brande, Denmark, as well as in our regions. For our Maritime & Aviation Solutions department we are therefore looking for an experienced and committed Maritime Specialist to take the lead in specific offshore projects involving Jack-ups and other vessels. What are my responsibilities? As a Maritime Specialist you will contribute to technical contract management as well as budget and time scheduling, including establishment and maintenance of site specific vessel operation criteria for different offshore service tasks and operations. More specifically, your key responsibilities include: Prepare and ensure all necessary documentation and be first point of contact to the suppliers and other internal and external stakeholders Support business case for operation, mobilization and demobilization related to Jack Up operations. In addition, take the lead in mobilization and demobilization Partake in future jack up design developments. This includes delivering jack up technical design input to the Sales and Turbine design interfaces Take part in benchmarking and analyzing Pro & Con’s in the use of different Jack Ups (Technical, Financing etc). In general maintain a World Wide market overview over the most optimal solutions, trends and prices etc. Create tender documentation and tender of Jack Up(s) Market and internal demand analysis What do I need to qualify for this job? You have a technical education at Master’s level and/or maritime mechanical/constructional experience in which you have gained strong technical knowledge of Jack-Up Vessels (or operation of other maritime assets). Your profile could be ship's mate, Dual office, Marine Engineer, Watch keeping Officer or Naval Architect with an interest to work with jack up(s). You are familiar with project management, budgeting and vessel design. Knowledge of Bimco Supply Time and Jack-Up BWEA Guidelines would be preferred. You are highly structured, demonstrate outstanding analytical skills and possess a strategic mindset and a self-driven working style. As a person you are able to create an inspiring and motivating environment, you navigate easily through different cultures, and you are a dedicated team player. Furthermore, you have excellent English skills both orally and in writing. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
