Did you know that Aalborg is the home of the world’s largest Wind Turbine Rotor Blade factory? At Siemens Wind Power A/S in Aalborg one of the largest blades for wind turbines is created. It is 75 meters long and is produced with state of the art technology. Today, the factory employs almost 2,000 employees and takes up 104,000 m2 under roof. Siemens Wind Power A/S is constantly expanding and developing new ways of producing and creating flow in the production. For our location in Aalborg we are looking for LEAN specialist who can further maintain and develop our way to be the best in our class. What are my responsibilities? · Further development and lifting of LEAN knowledge – Aalborg is on the right track, but strives to be the best in its class. · Support for the Production Management in Aalborg. · Tasks will vary from minor details in the specific process up until defining a new factory lay-out. · Liberty to manage your own day and schedule. · Support the Management in selecting the right KPI tool – generally in order to have the best possible overview as seen on the boards in the production, but also to simplify reports and continuously making things simple and handy. What do I need to qualify for this job? · You are able to both challenge and maintain, create and develop a culture which fosters creativity and motivation for the individual to change the way we do things in a continuous improvement. · You can document your LEAN experience and qualification. · You have experience in production lay-outs and processes together with knowledge of the tools used. · You could be a certified Project Manager and/or can present your experience within this area. · You have a high drive and are able to communicate at all levels of the organization and will not necessarily take no for an answer. · You are familiar with production analyzing/statistics – e.g. energy flows. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated. What else do I need to know?
