Deliver insights through data science You join the new Big Data & Analytics team where you use your business acumen to translate big data into insights. As a team, we are establishing data science as a discipline. Specifically, we deliver modelling algorithms for the digital My LEGO® Project and ad hoc analytics for the entire group. Thus, you use your understanding of data science to support how we use data analytics to develop our marketing efforts and enable personalised consumer experiences as well as drive brand engagement. In detail, you: Deliver insights from the performance of the My LEGO® Offerings, including insights on the performance of apps and the platform Help translate business questions into documented requirements for data analytics Help develop storylines for the insights generated from data science Travel to both internal projects and external conferences, especially within Europe, for a limited amount of time Join our supportive, collaborative network At the LEGO Group, insights are extremely valued and our focus on big data is rapidly increasing. Business analyst with a sales or marketing background and a passion for communication In this position, it is essential that you are able to prioritise, fail fast and learn from your mistakes. We are building something from the bottom up as a team that delivers together. To succeed, you have worked with analysis within a marketing or sales organisation, are familiar with data visulation and business intelligence tools, and you: Have 1-3 years of experience working with quantitative business analysis and data visualisation preferably from a CPG or FMCG company - ideally using data science as a foundation Potentially have experience working with analyses of games, apps or other digital offerings. Hold a degree in Business Administration, Engineering or similar with a focus on analysis, alternatively you have another background but substantial practical experience Are a good communicator, who knows how to translate complex data into brief insights and data visualisations aimed at business stakeholders Can engage with colleagues to engage and collaborate with business stakeholders across departments Speak and write English fluently Join the global LEGO Family In the LEGO Group, we succeed together, and you will be part of a global family where you can use your creativity and enjoy a fun working environment across the LEGO Community.
