IT Specialist (Key Management & Crypto) for Nets Operational Command Center

In Nets Operational Command Center (NOCC) we are searching for a colleague to join a team of 18 specialists. We are responsible for secure communication of confidential and secret data between Nets and external partners including the Danish financial data centers. 

In NOCC we are working with card security and data transmission in small teams with a relaxed and collegial atmosphere. Our team also collaborates with other parts of the organization supporting projects, incident and problem handling, and we often act as advisors. 

This position is based in Ballerup, Denmark. 

Key Manager & Cryptographic Systems SME, Security and Business Support 
You will take on the role as Key Manager and Crypto Subject Matter Expert, as you become a member of a small team of 4–6 people, where we primarily use the IBM EKMF/DKMS for Key Management. 

Your primary responsibilities will be:

• Participation in customer projects by leading and executing analysis, design, development, documentation, test, and implementation of key management functionality and/or cryptographic system changes primarily within: Card Issuing & Acquiring according to international standards, industry standards and best practice, PCI requirements and Nets regulations
• Support Business Units and IT with technical knowledge, troubleshooting during application tests and resolution of operational issues within the area of key management and cryptography. This may involve some programming.
• Ensure crypto or key related incidents are supported and resolved in a timely and professional manner and that their root causes are identified and eliminated  

 

Self-taught with great experience - or IT engineer who wants to learn?
What we expect:

• Good collaborative skills and a sense of humour
• Ability to work under time pressure, when deadlines or risk of production failure demands it
• Degree within engineering and/or IT or a compensating experience. Experience from similar work areas is considered as an advantage

 

Some experience with:

• Leading and executing small IT projects
• Practical cryptography
• Key and certificate management
• One or more programming languages – Java, C, Cobol, and/or S/390 Assembler (HLASM)
• Digesting and sharing highly technical information

 

Knowledge of

• Theoretical cryptography
• International payment cards standards (e.g. EMV, Visa, MasterCard, PCI)
• IT service management processes like ITIL
• Good language skills in English and one of the Scandinavian languages, both verbal and written.

You do not have to be totally detail oriented or a little detective, but it does not harm…

If you by nature are curious, enjoy digging into the detail and have a natural ability to take ownership for your tasks to secure successful completion. You are known to have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills combined with a good judgement and decision making.  You should enjoy collaborating and communicating with stakeholders at all levels, across cultures and organizational units as well as working independently.
