About the position:
For the Technology Department located in Brande, Denmark we are looking for an IT architect to take a key role in designing new solutions and continuously improve our existing solutions for our SCADA platform used globally in all Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy Wind Power Plants.
The Server Network Infrastructure team consists of a group of 14 dedicated employees. The team is responsible for developing the IT platform used in our turbines and for our SCADA platform.

What are my responsibilities?

You will become a part of a group where things are happening fast, and it is therefore important that you are able to handle several tasks and projects simultaneously without losing focus.
Your primary areas of responsibility will include:

• Design of new IT solutions for the Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy SCADA system
• Dialog with our customers to find the digital solutions and processes the architecture need to support.
• Communicate and cooperate with internal and external developers on architecture design.
• Set the Digitalization strategy for the SCADA platform with architects from other departments. 
• Project work analyzing requirements from customers and business, develop solution abstractJV_descriptions to be implemented by technical specialists.

What do I need to qualify for this position?

• You have a technical background, an education within computer science or engineering, combined with 10-15 years of experience within IT and industrial IT, of which the last 3-5 years are in an IT-architect role.
• You have in depth knowledge on larger and complex IT installations and IT-Projects.
• Have experience in handling complex solution abstractJV_descriptions.
• Security requirements must be a high priority for you.
• You are highly motivated to learn more about technology, digitalization and security.
• You are good at communicating with the business, and technical specialists.
• You have a structured and result oriented approach to your tasks
• You can work both independently and in teams.
• You have good English skills both orally and in writing
