About the department You will be part of the Sales & Operations Planning department in Supply Chain Planning, a central organization responsible for a range of activities within S&OP, tactical planning and regulatory flexibility. You will join a team of highly skilled colleagues in the Sales & Operations Planning Process Execution team. The team is responsible for execution of the monthly S&OP process, for coordinating activities related to obtaining relevant regulatory approvals to utilize our production capacities and a number of other activities related to tactical planning and balancing our supplies with the global demand of all Novo Nordisk products. In all we do, we strive to enable a strong and stable supply and high performance in the supply chain. The position You will support Regulatory SCM Partners in the day-to-day business of securing the needed regulatory flexibility to utilize the production capacities in the Product Supply area of Novo Nordisk – and thereby creating the foundation for an effective Supply Chain. In this role you will perform different activities ranging from preparing material for management presentation, background analysis on different levels, update of overview tools and other materials supporting our processes. Finally, together with the Regulatory SCM partners you will interact with S&OP Partners doing tactical planning across the entire product portfolio to ensure alignment of plans for obtaining the needed flexibility and plans for meeting product demand in the markets. Requirement: Students in their first or second year of their master studies. Period: The internship position is a full-time position for 6-8 months. Start date: 01 May 2016. Qualifications We are looking for an intern who is passionate about Supply Chain Management – in particular in the pharmaceutical industry. You are currently studying on your master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, health economics or other relevant field. General knowledge of supply chain management, S&OP and the pharmaceutical industry is preferred. Fluency in both oral and written English; ability to manage a large volume of projects (with supervision); sound personal judgment; and excellent interpersonal skills are required. You are an outgoing person with a strong personal drive and dedication. You have professional and personal impact that is reflected in your desire to take initiative. In addition, you thrive in a busy environment and bring a can-do attitude and a healthy sense of humour to your work – even when the pressure is on.
