- Sales - Denmark - Køge About the department Headquarters is the south of Copenhagen, Denmark. You will work closely with 15 motivated colleagues in the sales and marketing department. Novo Nordisk Pharmatech is developing rapidly and experiencing high growth rates, so you will have ample possibilities for influencing the future business. The position You will have overall sales responsible for non therapeutic insulin sales to cell culture accounts. This responsibility covers designated geographies including selected key accounts. Your success very much depends on your ability to achieve the ambitious goals for sales and business opportunities through your structured results orientated approach. You will be expected to make regular international business trips to our existing customers with the purpose of securing, developing the business. You will proactively seek, contact and meet with new potential customers in order to capture new market growth. As this is a technical product there is a strong desire for a scientific background in order to give credibility and assurance to our customers. A further critical attribute is the ability to prepare market analyses, sales strategies and forecasts for your specific area in order to suggest activities that will improve the market share, turnover and earnings. Based on your analyses and suggestions you prepare the action plan and implement the activities accordingly. This interesting and inspiring job will give you approximately 50 travel days per year primarily to North America. Qualifications You will have a scientific degree ideally in a similar field enabling you to engage with both R&D and procurement positions. In addition, you have approx 10 years international sales experience within Global Pharmaceutical accounts focusing on the US and rest of the world. You have several years of experience in selling high value critical GMP process products with at least 5 years of proven sales record. It is an advantage if you are accustomed to negotiating contracts resulting in closing a successful sale. For this job you will need to be persistent, convincing and self-confident, yet you must also master dealing with conflicts in a calm and respectful manner. Your innate high energy level and careful and quality-conscious mind-set make you a reliable and valued colleague and representative for the company. You have will be fluent in English.
