Help Build the Internal Audit Function and Make a Difference

LEO Pharma has embarked on a very ambitious journey to become the world’s preferred dermatology care partner – and that is why we need you.

As an Internal Audit Manager, you will join a new, dedicated international team of Internal Audit professionals within the Global People and Business Transformation organisation. You will be leading and performing internal audit reviews, including planning audits, executing the fieldwork, and reporting to senior management and the Audit Committee on the findings, and supporting the compliance functions with corporate governance requirements in relation to risk management, internal control and associated reporting.

The Job

• You lead and perform Internal Audit reviews through:
• Mapping business processes
• Developing work programmes
• Conducting fieldwork and testing
• Benchmarking and evaluating processes for improvements
• Recommending solutions
• Presenting reports to Management
• You follow-up reviews to monitor and track the implementation of recommendations
• You assist in planning, and development of the annual Internal Audit Plan
• You research, analyse and share relevant best practices and benchmarking to support audit recommendations
• You contribute to the continuous improvement and development of Group Internal Audit standards, manuals and audit techniques to enhance the quality and effectiveness of the reviews

About You

You have a relevant university degree with business emphasis in a related field and a minimum of 5 years in an external or internal audit role, preferably with an Internal Audit qualification. Any experience in compliance, governance or risk management within an international organization would be beneficial, and it will be an advantage - but not a must - if you have experiences in using data analysis tools.

As a person you have solid planning, coordination and facilitation skills. You are good at stakeholder management and feel comfortable at all levels in the organisational hierarchy. You are action oriented and proactive with a drive for execution. To succeed you should have excellent organizational skills and a positive attitude without losing the eye for detail. You must have a solid command of English, written and spoken.

Your New Team

You will join a small, dedicated team of Internal Audit professionals, committed to establishing the function as a recognised value-adding, capable and effective assurance partner. We're all about building an innovative, creative and unique Internal Audit team, and constantly challenge both the business and ourselves to be better at what we do.

You will be encouraged to work with a high level of autonomy and independence, and be tasked with driving the Internal Audit function forward. In this global role, business travel of around 20-40 days per year should be expected.

You will report to the Global Head of Internal Audit, based at LEO Pharma headquarters in Ballerup, Denmark, near Copenhagen.
