Would you like to work with international, challenging and highly dynamic projects on European issues? And would you like to work side by side with acknowledged experts in one of the leading Danish management consultancy firms? Then you might be our new colleague. We are currently looking for interns for the European Policy team. The European Policy team at Ramboll Management Consulting works mainly with the EU Commission and the European Parliament as clients. We carry out assignments in the areas of industry development and social management, mainly in the fields of home affairs, employment, transport, regional development, energy and education. We work on projects such as: •Evaluations of EU Commission programmes and projects •Studies of topical issues (in preparation for new European initiatives) •Impact Assessments of new Commission initiatives •Regulatory Impact Assessments where the expected effects of a certain directive are measured. Job description During your internship, you will be involved in all different aspects of our sales and project work, and you will be assigned one or more project teams. Your tasks will highly reflect the consultants’ tasks and consist, among others, of: •Desk research •Interviews •Surveys •Analysis •Data processing •Some administrative tasks (in connection to especially sales activities). It is important for us that you get tasks within your areas of interest and that these are varied throughout your internship. You will get an experienced consultant as mentor, who will support and guide your learning process. The European Policy team is divided between Brussels and Copenhagen. As an intern in the Copenhagen office, you will be based in the Ramboll Head Office, in Copenhagen, but will be working as much with the consultants in Brussels as with those in Copenhagen, as well as with colleagues from other countries. The internship is from 1 August 2016 until 31 January 2017. It is a fulltime position (37 hours/week) and is subject to limited monthly remuneration. The learning outcomes are usually eligible for award of academic credit points from most Danish and European universities. Your profile •You have knowledge of and interest in the EU, from your studies or from previous internships or student positions •You will be enrolled in a Master’s programme throughout the duration of the internship within a relevant field (such as European Studies, Law, Political Science, International Business, Economics, Social Anthropology, etc.) •You are among the top students in your programme •You have an analytical mind set •You work in a structured way and are good at multitasking •You have excellent command of English, both written and oral – since the working language is English you do not need to be able to speak/write Danish •It is an advantage if you are fluent in a second European language, such as French, German or Spanish •It is an advantage if you have experience with qualitative and quantitative methods for data collection and/or analysis and/or evaluation methodology, either from your studies or from a student job.
