Nets is seeking a new Head of Regulatory & Compliance

 

Nets is a leading Nordic fintech company en route to expand into Europe. Operating in the financial and banking industries, our regulatory and compliance practices are continuously under a high level of focus and scrutiny. We are now searching for a new Head of Regulatory & Compliance to pick up the mantle and lead our excellent compliance team, further developing our efforts and quality in this area.

 

As Head of Regulatory & Compliance you will report to the General Counsel, and you will become part of a dynamic and professional management team working at the core of the fast-moving fintech industry. The responsibility will cover leadership of 4 people located in Denmark, while other decentralised compliance functions have dotted reporting lines to you.

As Head of Regulatory and Compliance, you will play an integral role in Nets’ continuous efforts towards compliance in all jurisdictions in which Nets operate. You will be responsible for maintaining an independent oversight of the Group’s compliance risks and report directly to senior management on compliance matters.

 

Your key responsibilities in this role will be:

• To maintain a group wide framework for compliance risk identification, assessment, monitoring and reporting.
• To advice business units and group functions on management and mitigation of compliance risks.
• Training of Nets group employees within relevant regulation.
• Monitoring and implementation of new legislation in the regulatory team.

Your professional qualifications and background should include:

• 8-10 years of work experience from a similar position within regulatory compliance in the financial sector.
• Extensive experience with financial regulations and authorities including strong relationships in the relevant institutions.
• Experience from an ambitious and high-performance company.
