You will join and head a team of 5 dedicated finance professionals responsible for the financial accounting and corporate reporting for Maersk Oil’s Danish North Sea activities. Here, you will lead your team, delegate tasks and projects and take responsibility for ensuring high standards within accounting and reporting to key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities As Head of Accounting and Reporting, you will be responsible for the financial accounting for the Danish Business Unit (DBU). This includes monitoring the daily bookkeeping for the DBU’s activities and the timely distribution of reports to internal and external stakeholders. As head of the team, you set the direction and make sure to lead, motivate and develop your employees. Embracing the role as manager and focal point in the finance team will be a key to your success in this position as you create results through others. More specifically, your tasks will include: • Responsibility for IFRS reporting to the DBU, the management team and Maersk Oil Corporate • Maintaining and optimizing financial processes, internal audits and monitoring activities • A central role in the quarterly rolling forecasts to Maersk Oil Corporate • Delegating various ad hoc tasks to the team and ensuring that all of your team’s productions are delivered to the right stakeholders • Coordinating and facilitating audits related to the joint ventures and the IFRS financial reporting • Collaborating with and assisting corporate functions such as Group Tax and Group Finance • Make sure we follow Maersk Oil’s global standards as you Who we are looking for As a person, you are outgoing with great people and motivational skills.
