Development of an innovative, digital training concept

Do you want to be part of establishing and building up a new Tech Support group function in an ambitious and successful, international organization? And are you motivated by delivering innovative, digital training concepts? As Group Tech Support & Training Manager you will have a unique opportunity to leave your mark on the Group Tech Support function and supporting the further global growth of the company.
You will become part of the global sales organization, and you will report to the Sales Director globally. You will be responsible for building up and managing the department, and for global delivery of technical support and training for colleagues in the regions and for customers. Your main task and an important criterion for success is to develop and implement an innovative, digital and virtual training universe, that is globally scalable, and that includes all of the current and coming products and technologies in the group. You will be a pioneer in this area, and your key deliveries are:

• Establishing work processes, systems and methods for both tech support and training programs
• Development and implementation of a digital/virtual training universe, that is globally scalable and includes all current and coming products and technologies
• Development of training programs and curriculums in close cooperation with your colleagues in the Tech Support organization and R&D, as well as ensuring global availability and competence in relation to content, methods and practical training
• Hands-on implementation and participation in training programs, seminars, exhibitions, customer events etc.

The Group Tech Support function at present consists of 3 technicians, one of which is located in Hungary, and their main responsibilities are developing framework and tools for the global tech support deliveries, but they are also operational in the deliveries in close cooperation with R&D and the regional Tech Support functions, that operate locally.

You have a pioneer mind-set, tech expertise and experience with training concepts

There are several backgrounds that may qualify for this job. You may have a relevant engineering background, or an education within e.g. sales, marketing or IT – as long as it is combined with a solid experience with robotic technologies, industrial automation or other advanced technology. It is equally important, that you have experience in developing training concepts and knowledge on the application of digital training platforms, for example simulations and/or virtual training.
You navigate easily in a global organization with many internal and external stakeholders across functions and cultures. You will divide you time between management, development and execution, and it is essential for your success in this role, that you are visionary, able to think ‘out-of-the-box’, but at the same time you are organizing, persistent and a true executor.
