Probably the best risk management team is searching for a new colleague with a passion for insurance, claims and risk management

We offer you an interesting position where you will assist in managing global master programmes and independently manage a number of regional and local insurance programmes. You will engage in everything from analysis and presentation of risks to completing insurance tender processes directly or in co-operation with insurance brokers. You will assist in claims handling and follow up on claims statistics and the performance of insurance programmes to ensure that loss prevention and risk management initiatives are in place to mitigate future risks and optimize total cost of risks. You will interact with Carlsberg companies worldwide ensuring implementation of the insurance strategy including execution and administration of such strategy on a daily basis.

 

You will report to the Head of Group Risk Management and be part of the Group Treasury & Risk Management function at Carlsberg headquarters. You will co-operate cross functionally with group companies in the countries where Carlsberg has operations as well as with central functions such as finance, legal and supply chain. Your area of responsibility will primarily be liability insurances and financial lines, but you will also participate in and support the full range of activities of the Group Risk Management.

 

You have experience with insurance and risk management. You have an education at bachelor level as a minimum, or specific education within insurance or insurance broking. You have at least five years’ relevant experience working with insurance, preferably liability insurance or financial lines as a broker or underwriter or working for an international company. You have project management skills and experience. You are fluent in written and spoken English.

 

You have highly developed communications skills and the ability to effectively communicate with peers and senior management. You are well organized and have strong analytical skills. In addition you have a well developed business understanding.

You will be part of a team of six highly capable and very motivated individuals that have day-to-day responsibility for transfer of risk by insurance,  identification of exposures to losses, and implementation of risk management techniques to eliminate or reduce the impact of loss or the ability of Carlsberg to operate at a desirable level. The function is responsible for the enterprise risk management framework, security & crisis management, pension risks and specifically the risk transfer by insurance, where you will be one of two experts. You will be exposed to many different business issues and tasks, and your ability to respond to these will shape and define your possibilities and personal development.

 

You have the ability to motivate and drive results. You like to work as a specialist interacting with colleagues worldwide. You have highly developed interpersonal and networking skills and relate well to different people and nationalities. The position includes international travel, including long distance, estimated to 10-20 days a year.
