This is an awesome opportunity, if you are an experienced Designer and leader and would like the strategic responsibility of the team that designs all in-box LEGO Graphics, characters and stickers. Be responsible for the development of world class designs for world class toys As our new Graphic Design Manager, you share the responsibility of the strategic development of the Graphic Design Team with 2 other Graphic Design Managers. Further, you collaborate closely with your team of 34 dedicated Graphic Designers at the heart of the organisation in Billund, Denmark where all LEGO Models sold worldwide are created. Your team develops characters, decorations and stickers for models, from ideation to final technical drawings. You: Organise projects and plans in close cooperation with a vast variety of departments with many different stakeholders, such as creative leaders and model designers, as well as Project Managers, Project Coordinators, External Partners, etc. Take part in and lead the weekly department meeting, where we catch up on progress, challenges, and successes Develop your team members, while setting clear goals for each individual to constantly improve their skills and creativity Push the limits We are completely dedicated to inspiring the builders of tomorrow. Management experience, strong portfolio and team development qualities You apply your creativity and curiosity in enabling the development of amazing products, just like you take pride in developing your team members on each project. In fact, you are a team member to the core that provides sparring and guidance to all members. When doing so, you are a strong communicator that passes on your knowledge and expertise in an easily understandable fashion. To succeed: - You hold a Bachelor’s or Master´s degree within graphic design and management - You have at least 3 years of management experience - You have a strong process oriented focus and design for business understanding - You are a strong MS Office user and know Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign excellently - You speak and write excellent English Join the global LEGO Family In the LEGO Group we succeed together, and you will be part of a global family.
