Join us as graduate in Foundation Project Management which is responsible for handling end-to-end project management of all our offshore wind farms. Foundation Project Management is part of Wind Power, which has 1400 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. You will be based at our office in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work. About the graduate programme As a graduate, you complete a 24­month programme in which you will participate in a training programme along with the rest of the graduate batch 2015. During the training programme, you will participate in six graduate courses. Our graduate programme is considered the first step in our high­potential developing programmes. You will develop yourself both personally and professionally, and your ability to be project­oriented and analytical as well as your problem­solving skills will be strengthened. As part of your daily assignments, you will have the opportunity to rotate within different departments in the business area. You will have the possibility of influencing your assignments to match your qualifications and interests. Furthermore, the programme will give you a strong network among the rest of the graduates in the organisation. Your tasks and responsibilities You will be involved in several on­going projects and ad hoc tasks where your main responsibilities are to: - handle the full value chain of our PMI based project management from development to execution - assist in handling the foundation and substation packages for our offshore wind farms - be responsible for managing your own tasks within an agreed timescale, including autonomy in managing your workload, travel, meetings, stakeholders and documentation - participate in the procurement and execution of billion dollar offshore projects Your first rotation will be in Foundation Project Management where you will assist with standardisation and project management. In your second rotation, you will handle tasks related to the Hornsea offshore substation where you will investigate, develop and implement levers reducing cost of electricity, particularly in relation to fabrication. In your third rotation, you will handle tasks related to the Burbo onshore substation where you will handle technical and commercial documentation, identify interfaces, provide input to reports and contribute actively to evaluating the project and capture lessons learnt. Your profile You have recently graduated with a master's degree within engineering and have delivered excellent results. You have a maximum of 12 months of relevant professional experience, and you are fluent in spoken and written English.
