Do you have what it takes to ensure all LEGO® marketing materials live up to our quality and safety standards around the World? Join the Corporate Quality team In this position, you will be part of the Corporate Quality (CQ) leadership team with responsibility of quality and product safety in the solutions generated by Shopper Marketing & Channel Development (SM&CD) and by the individual market groups. As Global Quality Director – Marketing Materials, you will have a unique opportunity to develop both yourself and the organisation as you work to ensure that all LEGO Group in-store and marketing products and materials are safe and comply with our high standards. Doing this will take a team effort, and you will get to work with multiple stakeholders, both inside and outside the organisation, to implement improvements. Your home base will be Billund, Denmark and from there, you will head up an international team of approximately 10 dedicated professionals and you should expect travelling approximately 50 days per year. Set the quality and safety direction for marketing materials in the LEGO Group As the LEGO Group grows in size and impact, we face increased demands to ensure we maintain our premium brand positioning. You and your team support this effort by ensuring that all LEGO Produced marketing materials and solutions are safe, compliant and of right quality. Accordingly, you are responsible for SM&CD product and material compliance with both internal and external policies as well as in-store product compliance across the various market groups. This includes making guidelines for external suppliers, conducting quality inspections, collaborating closely with the LEGO Corporate Quality colleagues and LEGO Market Groups to ensure our quality and safety standards are upheld around the world. At the same time, you prepare strategic plans, ensure that the right team competences are in place, and you make sure best practices are shared across the organisation. You also serve as a management representative in SM&CD and you are responsible for management reporting and team functions across SM&CD. Experienced professional with quality/production management experience You have a degree in Science, Engineering or QM-related field. This is combined with at least 5 years of leadership experience in either a Quality or Production Management role in an international company. You have experience working with QM related to business processes, supplier management and product certifications. Fluency in English with clear communication skills is a must. As a person, you are a team player with great networking and stakeholder management skills. With your solid understanding of business challenges, you are able to communicate effectively at all levels and are at ease delivering and work-shopping findings with diverse audiences. At the same time, you have strong leadership skills and can constructively challenge existing processes and behaviours within your area of responsibility as well as in other teams and departments.
