We are looking for an ambitious and experienced Global Product Manager who is eager to add value to our affiliates with the launch of a brand new cardiovascular outcome study that we expect will transform the treatment of type 2 diabetes. About the department The Victoza® Brand Team is part of the Glucagon Like Peptide 1 (GLP-1) Portfolio CVP area in Global Marketing. The brand team is responsible for leading the global brand strategy and promotional deliverables. We strive to add maximum value to our affiliates in everything that we do. It is a very driven, dynamic, team-oriented and international environment. The position Victoza® was launched in 2009 and is the greatest growth contributor to Novo Nordisk. Victoza® is blessed with a very strong life cycle management plan and in 2017 we will be able to launch data from a recently published cardiovascular outcomes trial. This data has the potential to change treatment patterns in type 2 diabetes and therefore we are treating this as a launch of a brand new product. As Global Product Manager you will be a critical part of this cardiovascular launch and are offered a unique, challenging and diverse position in the Victoza® Global Brand Team. You will be leading a number of value adding tasks within the brand team and a “can-do” attitude, with a focus on strong team work, is a must. You will also work closely with our Victoza® affiliates and therefore you will be required to have the ability to conduct market analysis and provide direction to ensure that our affiliates are kept informed of strategic developments and activities. You will work very closely with relevant functions across Global Marketing and various stakeholder functions. Qualifications You have at least 4-7 years of relevant work experience within the pharmaceutical industry and have a strong track record of success. We are especially interested in candidates who have worked in the cardiovascular space before. Solid diabetes and medical understanding is preferred. Strong communication and presentation skills are required. You have an excellent command of written and spoken English with the ability to communicate complex matters in a simple and compelling way. You enjoy working in cross-functional teams with many stakeholders. Enterprising and result-oriented, you have a high level of drive. You are analytical, structured, and comfortable working both as part of a team and independently with responsibility for your own tasks. The ideal candidate has an international mind-set. You hold an academic degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Medicine or other relevant degree.
