Would you like to take up the exciting challenge of financially optimising the portfolio of wind power assets to support management decisions within the world's largest offshore wind company? Join us and become our new Financial Analyst in the Financial Planning team, which is responsible for DONG Energy Wind Power’s mid- to long-term financial outlook. Other key areas of responsibility include analyses of the long-term asset allocation and supporting the Wind Power business areas in financial planning matters. Financial Planning is part of Wind Power which has 1400 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. You will be based at our office in Gentofte. Areas of responsibility As Financial Analyst, your main responsibility is to develop, perform and report long-term consolidated financial outlooks. Thus, you get a unique insight into the entire Wind Power value chain and its financial drivers. In addition, you perform financial analyses related to financial planning in Wind Power and DONG Energy. It could be risk analyses, valuation, explanation of development in relevant key figures, etc. Furthermore, your key duties will be to: •provide relevant financial analyses to support informed management decisions •ensure high quality deliverables on time •develop, maintain and operate Excel based models and tools •coordinate financial outlook processes •contribute to and participate in cross-functional projects. Your profile You hold a master of science degree in finance and accounting, economics or similar, eg corresponding to the Danish degrees cand.merc.fir., cand.merc.aef., cand.merc.fsm., cand.oecon. or cand.polit., where you have consistently performed at a high level. Either you have graduated recently, or you have some experience from an equivalent position within a large company. It is important that you have a strong analytical mind-set and flair for working with figures and presentation of data. It is beneficial if you have applied the theoretical tools obtained through your education in a relevant student position. Moreover, you have a sound knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint and speak and write English fluently. As a person, you have a result-oriented and structured approach to your work and focus on details. You do not hesitate to challenge consensus. Moreover, you are able to create results through teamwork and develop good relationships to your colleagues and stakeholders.
