Diabetes Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (DAPI) is looking for a value adding Finance Partner, to join for a one-year leave substitution with the possibility to become a permanent of the team. As Finance Partner, you are responsible to combine information and business insights, bringing them to Management attention to support key business decisions and ensure actions are taken.

About the department
DAPI Finance is part of DAPI Business Support based in Kalundborg, Denmark. The Department is responsible for the financial management of the world’s largest insulin factory with a close link to the line of business in production and other support areas. We act as business partners based on strong financial competencies combined with a good understanding of the business in which we operate. You will be part of an experienced finance team consisting of 7 employees in Denmark and 2 based in Bangalore, India.

The position
DAPI Finance is continuously striving to proactively generate insights for DAPI and become even better finance partners to the organisation. This is based on a foundation of strong financial understanding, cost monitoring and analytical capabilities combined with high quality deliverables, strong stakeholder management skills and continuous focus on increasing our understanding of the businesses we support. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required as we interact with people in diverse positions across the organisation.

You will be involved and be responsible for key finance processes such as the Anchor Budget, monthly management reporting and rolling estimates. In addition, you are expected to provide production costs analysis and decision support to relevant stakeholders. It is expected that you are able to proactively engage stakeholders and drive financial solutions at all levels of the organisation. Moreover, as the Department is embarked in a data literacy journey, you will also be involved in processes towards the improvement of business intelligence and big data to improve our production economy and cost controlling.

Qualifications
You hold a Master’s degree in Finance or Economics. Ideally, you also have experience with production economy and possess IT flair. You have strong stakeholder management skills, including an ability to build relationships and trust, and you are ready to invest time and effort. The job requires solid analytical, process and interpersonal skills combined with a high level of drive. You are a team player, take the initiative and have a high level of engagement. The atmosphere in DAPI Finance is informal, so if you can maintain your sense of humour at all times, you are the kind of person we are looking for.
