You will join the Direct Procurement Finance department, which is part of COO Finance. We are a small and agile team who is supporting the direct areas within Global Procurement on financial topics. The department's main objective is to provide value-adding partnering to our main stakeholders within Global Procurement.
We are responsible for analysing root causes of our actual activity to assist management in accurately assessing and forecasting future results through business case reviews, KPI reviews and KPI performance forecasting. Our objectives are to deliver timely and accurate financial analyses, enabling management to make fact-based decisions.
In this role you will have the full responsibility for supporting one of the direct areas within Global Procurement, and you will be an integrated part of the management team. You can look forward to working in a dynamic environment and be a part of a high performing team. In addition, you will have a lot of interaction with your stakeholders in your daily work.
Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will be to:
- Perform and lead performance management of the direct areas within Global Procurement
- As an integrated part of your stakeholders' management team, support with advice on financial topics
- Ensure tracking of cost-out initiatives, by supporting with both calculations and with reviews of business cases
- Lead and facilitate ad-hoc inquiries from Group Finance functions and Global Procurement
- Define and maintain Business Cases and performance measures
- Develop and communicate financial planning instructions within Vestas
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of work experience within Finance, preferably in a complex and global environment
- A degree in Finance, Business Management, Accounting or similar
- In-depth knowledge of accounting, forecasting and performance management
- Experience with ERP systems and BI, preferably SAP
- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Fluency in verbally and written English
