Become part of an ambitious System Software team in Kamstrup
Kamstrup is one of the world's leading manufacturers of intelligent metering solutions for energy and water consumption with the headquarters based in Stilling, south of Aarhus. Due to our rapid growth, we are looking for two experienced Software Developers to join our System Software team.
As our new Software Developer, you will be a part of one of the System Software teams that belongs to the Electricity System Software department. The team consists of 6 experienced and professional colleagues, covering full time testers and developers, who all work accordingly to the scrum model. The team is responsible for collecting and displaying data from households and electricity utilities. We work with the newest technologies in order to develop innovative software solutions of the absolute finest quality.
A job focusing on innovative metering solutions
In the job as Software Developer, you will be a central player in the development of our system solutions. In cooperation with the rest of the team, you will refine, estimate, develop, test and document the features that we develop to our customers. Moreover, you will participate actively in meetings with the architecture group.
To succeed in the job, it is essential that you have experience with these technologies:
• C#
• MS SQL
• RESTful web services
• Microservices
• Unit test and design patterns
Furthermore, it is an advantage to have experience with a wide range of other technologies and tools such as Azure service fabric, MongoDB, Docker, Jenkins, Bitbucket/GIT, Nunit and Jira.

As a person, you are ambitious, and you take pride in writing code of high quality. You enjoy teamwork and you are ready to influence the team’s progress with your experience within software development and software architecture. In addition, it is crucial that you are an excellent communicator who can act as the link between the architect group and the team. You are driven by a constant desire to keep developing your skills and deliver better solutions for our customers.
You have an education as an engineer, computer scientist or similar and a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience as Software Developer.
The job requires fluency in written and spoken English. Danish will be an advantage.
