Do you know what it takes to drive healthcare practice supported by electronic processes and communication? Would you like to conduct eHealth research that will promote evidence-based clinical practices? Would you like to be part of developing and testing tomorrow’s eHealth solutions for people with hearing loss and their clinicians? Would you like to become part of a world class audiology research centre? Then you might be the new eHealth researcher we are looking for! This is a permanent full-time position in Snekkersten, Denmark. Your team and tasks You will become part of the eHealth group consisting of four dedicated researchers with a strong international track record within eHealth clinical research. With your new colleagues, you will be responsible for researching and implementing clinical audiology solutions supported by electronic processes and communication. You will research solutions that address the needs of people with hearing impairment and their clinicians. Your research will not only generate publications, but will also transform clinical practice, as well as the operations of large health care providers. Our Eriksholm DNA is applied science, so at our research centre you will conduct world class research in close collaboration with leading scientists around the world, where your experience and skills will be instrumental for achieving both high impact scientific goals and implementing new health care products and services. You will also develop strong skills in industrial product development, bringing your ideas to fruition together with a broad range of colleagues within William Demant such as Research & Development and Sales & Marketing. Your tasks will include: Need analysis of people with hearing loss and clinicians Requirements analysis of stakeholders within William Demant Clinical research idea generation and research design with strong focus on clinical aspects of eHealth research International research project conduction Research presentation (oral and written) Implementation of research results in products and services Your background You have a PhD in an eHealth-related field such as clinical health sciences (medicine, nursing, etc), public health, related social sciences (psychology, health economics, etc), epidemiology, medical engineering, or biostatistics. You are an experienced researcher with a good track-record of completed research projects. You have a strong interest in research translation and implementation. On a personal level, you can work independently as a researcher but you also thrive working as part of a team. You see taking on new tasks as rewarding and challenging and you do so without hesitation. You have a friendly, open attitude, and thrive in a role requiring you to be in contact with a broad range of stakeholders. We expect you to be fluent in both oral and written English.
