- Research Scientist - Denmark - Måløv Do you want to use your experience within DMPK to be an integral part of the development of new therapies? Then come and join our department, Development DMPK – ADME where we have a 1 year temporary position open. About the department We are a highly motivated and expanding department striving to provide and integrate state-of-the-art non-clinical and clinical Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics data from late-stage discovery and throughout non-clinical and clinical development. Together with other departments in Non-clinical Development we prepare for and contribute to non-clinical and clinical testing of new drug candidates. The ADME department consists of 6 scientists and 4 laboratory technicians working together in an open, challenging and cross-functional environment. The ADME department is a part of Development DMPK that also comprises a PKPD department. The job You will design, conduct and report on absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion studies on new therapeutic candidates (modified peptides and proteins) in a GLP/GCP compliant facility. Collaboration with a variety of internal stakeholders in the R&D organisation as well as with Contract Research Organisations will be an integral part of your work. The position will give you an opportunity to work with different techniques, methods and studies within the ADME scientific field. Qualifications You have a Master or Ph.D. degree in a DMPK-related field. Hands-on experience with HPLC/UPLC, radio detection (3H and 14C), plasma protein binding, LC-MS, metabolite ID and hepatocyte assays is preferred. Experience with GLP/GCP will be an advantage as well as knowledge of pharmacokinetics and PKPD interpretations. We expect you to be ambitious, self-motivated and to have the ability to maintain the overview of many simultaneous tasks. Excellent scientific and collaborative skills are required.
