Job Description
We are looking for a Director IT & Manufacturing Systems who will be responsible for all infrastructure, execution & engineering systems used at Biogen Manufacturing in Hillerod to support Technical Development, Manufacturing & Engineering.
In partnership with the Biologics Manufacturing & Technical Operations Lead, you will be responsible to establish and manage site-based groups accountable for the development, implementation and operation support of the Next Generation Manufacturing execution philosophy and associated computerized systems for all batch activities.
You set strategic priorities for the holistic systems technology landscape for the Infrastructure & Manufacturing functions, including but not limited to oversight of new plants/facilities, changes to manufacturing lines, engineering, etc.
Essential duties and responsibilities include:
Delivery of all aspects of the Infrastructure & Manufacturing Systems components to support the Hillerod site transition.
Ongoing support and maintenance of all aspects of the Infrastructure & Manufacturing Execution Systems components.
Single Point of contact for all engineering and plant execution systems to key functions like regulatory, quality systems, IT, Supply Chain, Procurement, etc. at the Hillerod Site.
Build, develop, and manage a high performing team to deliver on above responsibilities.
Create and sustain a culture of innovation, quality, compliance, accountability, employee engagement, diversity and inclusion.
Lead the site organizations through transformational changes.
Develop strategic partnerships across industry and manage all capital & operational expenditures of plant engineering and execution systems at the Hillerod site.
The Director IT & Manufacturing Systems will be a member of the site leadership team and Global PO&T IT SLT.

Qualifications
You have 15+ years' work experience, with at least 10 years related industry experience from a pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing, drug development or equivalent environment. Your experience should demonstrate track record of success and leadership positions of increasing responsibility.
You have direct, relevant experience managing technical individuals (engineering, automation, IT) and multi-disciplinary cross-functional teams.
Formal or on the job experience in business practices including budget management, project management, and strategic planning is required.
Education
Minimum B.S degree in an Engineering or Computer Science discipline or related field PhD or Master's degree preferred.
