Are you a Big Data expert with an entrepreneurial and strategic mind-set? This is a unique opportunity to start up, staff and operate a new global marketing Data Analytics function within the LEGO Group´s market research department. Newly established position with strategic and managerial empowerment As Director, Global Insights, Data Analytics, you will be responsible for hiring a core team of 3-4 employees, with the expectation of further personnel expansion in 2016/2017. You will will be responsible for building an analytical team with expertise in managing and analyzing large data sets, conducting advanced analytics and translating findings into relevant marketing opportunities. With direct report to the Vice President of Global Insights, your work tasks will include: Lead the Data Analytics team, with point of departure in development and analysis of data related to a new digital consumer experience portal, the My LEGO Project that is currently under development Use analytics and insights to improve and personalize the consumer experience in the My LEGO Portal, to drive deeper commercial and brand engagement with products and experiences Drive the Data Analytics team to develop Big Data and advanced analytics as a marketing discipline, and achieve competitive advantage for the company Through deliverables of the Data Analytics team, increase marketing effectiveness and drive brand affinity and consumer lifetime value Provide the foundation that contributes to children´s consumer experience You will join a company that is passionate about the impact of play and where creativity and deep engagement are cornerstones. Technical and business oriented profile with global perspective The successful candidate possesses substantial experience leading an advanced data function and you must be comfortable operating in the intersection of IT, data and business. You thrive with working across multiple disciplines and with many stakeholders. Moreover, you: Possess in-depth experience within advanced analytics, predictive modeling, real-time analytics and application of analysis to business problems Have approximately 10 years of experience within the relevant fields of data, analytics and insights generation Are a highly collaborative individual and strong networker, who thrives interacting with multiple stakeholders across borders Have a track record of working in a large and international organization Possess a relevant Bachelor´s degree as background or preferable a Master´s degree Join the global family The LEGO Group is succeeding together, and you will be part of a global family where you will collaborate across the LEGO Community.
