If so, prepare yourself for a truly global job where you set the overall design and style direction for clothing, bags and bedding for LEGO®. You put LEGO soft goods on the global map – and guarantee quality and originality It will be your job to decide how LEGOs soft goods are going to look, feel and appeal to children all over the world. Your mission is to prepare children for bedtime adventures covered in LEGO The Movie bedding, or to inspire children to creativity, learning and fun wearing LEGO clothes. Making sure that the quality is top notch and that the clothes have the right LEGO DNA, you will be able to give children all over the world exactly the items with their favourite character art. In overall terms, you will: • Lead the way for LEGO soft goods as to quality and visual appearance • Drive the art and design direction with the experience of LEGO Licensing Partners Creative Studios • Give accurate directions to our licensing partners • Ensure the design is in compliance with the LEGO guidelines and lives up to our branding and quality • Secure correct LEGO tone of voice, brand values and play theme art direction • Secure good branding and art direction suitable for the target group • Retrieve material and content You will join a team of 17 Designers in Licensing & Extended Line Design Management. We are a competence centre for design and development of non-core LEGO products. As LEGO experts we have a consulting role towards all outbound licensing partners at a global scale and ensure that the LEGO values and DNA are expressed in the right way. Textile expert with sound and powerful managerial skills You will have a managerial role and must be able to lead the way as a good example, and you use your stamina and power to succeed with your mission. As Design Manager you must have a successful track record from the textile industry, and if you have experience from the fashion line of business and expertise in art direction and commercial art composition, it will absolutely extend your lead.
