Are you ready to apply your technical expertise and problem-solving skills? Do you thrive in a role where you will motivate and guide a team of competent contractors? 

You will join our Special Projects department which is part of our Operations organisation. You will spend most of your time working on- and offshore at our offshore windfarm sites in Europe on a 14 days on/14 days off rotation scheme. In low seasons, you will work back-office either in Aarhus, DK, Hamburg, DE, or Warrington, UK, depending on your residence. 

Tasks & responsibilities: You will… 

…be a part of a highly skilled project team consisting of Project Managers, Project Supervisors and Technicians and support and substitute the Site/Project Manager on site. You will manage the execution and implementation of defined tasks and successfully coordinate, plan, execute, oversee and record the daily activities in the project execution. 

You will also be responsible for:  

• Planning, management and deployment of resources, tools and equipment 
• Assist Project Manager with budget forecasting 
• Ensure documentation is available 
• Compliance to MHI Vestas Health and Safety Management system 
• Lead and manage site team 
• Update Daily Progress Report (DPR)
• Mobilisation of vessels and coordinate vessel transfer with local Service organisation 
• Manage internal and external stakeholders and support Project Management with related tasks
• Day-to-day communication and alignment with Customer, vessel owner and relevant subcontracted companies 
• Support training personnel 

Travel is a significant part of the job as you will be working on- and offshore at our offshore windfarm sites in Europe. Increased workload during summer periods must be expected. In low seasons, it is expected that you will work back office at our headquarters, following up on projects and planning new projects.

• Are fluent in English, both oral and in writing 
• Have basic IT skills (Word, Excel, etc.)
