Would you like to lead LEAN project managers and be responsible for implementing LEAN in our Technology and Development organisation, thus anchoring LEAN with managers and executives? And do you want to be responsible for improving speed, precision and quality when introducing new products, making us even more competitive? Be part of our LEAN management team where we are responsible for LEAN projects within production and technology. You become Department head of a team of 5 skilled project managers within the LEAN principles. Together, you coach other project managers, department heads and executives on LEAN principles and behaviour, making sure new technologies and equipment are of high quality and delivered on time. You refer to LEAN Manager Søren Brøndum. ”Both the management group and the team you will be leading consist of handpicked talents. We aim for great achievements, challenge the status quo and help and develop each other through sparring,” Søren says. Hvad drejer jobbet sig om? As LEAN Department head, your primary task is to introduce and develop LEAN in our Technology and Development departments in Grundfos A/S. Together with your team, you make sure that the Grundfos LEAN system is implemented according to our policies and values. It is also your responsibility to develop and implement ambitious strategies and visions for LEAN in collaboration with the LEAN Manager and the other managers. Thus, your primary role is to secure implementation of the LEAN principles within our Engineering departments where we handle new technologies, production of equipment, NPI and effective implementation of these in a LEAN production. During this process, you develop executives and coach them on LEAN behaviour and change management as well as act as a sparring partner. Finally, you also coach and develop your own team. ”It is one thing to lead the projects, but the challenge is to anchor the LEAN mentality and behaviour with the executives in other Grundfos departments. It is not enough to set the direction for where we are going. You need to coach the executives on how to live the LEAN mentality,” Søren explains. Hvad skal der til for at ansøge? You possess in-depth knowledge of LEAN as well as management within technology, product and equipment production, and you have a degree in Engineering, e.g. as Machine Engineer. Furthermore, you have a Master in Management or an HD and a minimum of 5 years’ experience, managing managers or project managers within Engineering. You speak English fluently. ”On a personal level, you are an excellent communicator. You know how to work with people on many different levels and are able to communicate the importance of your plans so they manifest in the people you work with. The environment is ever-changing and so are the plans, but you see opportunities and together with different colleagues, you secure development,” Søren finishes.
