Data Manager Novozymes has taken a strategic decision to improve master data management of our key cross-functional data. Therefore, we are looking for a dynamic, motivated individual to join an ambitious business-oriented team to help take data management to the next level.You will be part of a recently formed data governance function with the goal of ensuring accurate and trusted business data in support of operations, reporting and analysis. As a Data Manager, you will be responsible for leveraging your overview of data definitions, life cycles, and data quality rules and metrics to ensure our key data is fit for purpose and supports business objectives. Together with your colleagues in the Data Excellence function and the extended teams of Data Owners and Data Stewards, you will work to maintain established levels of data quality and to develop and implement improvement initiatives to bring data quality to new heights. Qualifications - You hold a Master's degree in business administration, economics, finance, or IT - You have strong communication skills, and are fully proficient in English - You have good business partnering skills and are persistent without being inflexible - Knowledge of data governance/data stewardship best practices is an advantage - Experience from business areas such as supply chain or production is an advantage Challenges In this position, you will have a key role in the development and maintenance of global data quality guidelines, principles and best practices across Novozymes. You will be a central player in the “Data” arena, as you will be deeply involved in defining and driving improvement roadmaps to ensure we work consistently with our key data assets: assets that must be managed, protected and leveraged.
