We are looking for a Cyber Security Incident Responder in Nordea to monitor security threats against Nordea and initiate proper security measures to mitigate such threats with the team. 

This is an opportunity for you to join Cyber Defence Centre in Technology Information Security Office (TISO) where we are working to maintain and strengthen the Nordea brand, by developing, improving and maintaining IT security solutions that will protect Nordeas data.

Your future responsibilities

Technology Information Security Office (TISO) enables business to deliver secure and competitive solutions to Nordeas customers. An important objective for us is to be recognised internally and externally for our professional knowledge and for being a proactive and trustworthy partner regarding Cyber security. We also support our partners in managing risk by identifying security threats and proposing mitigation measures while always accommodating a good balance between risk, cost and business needs. 

What you'll be doing:

• Your main responsibility will be driving and participating in IT security related incident handling, threat evaluations and computer forensics investigations
• The role will require interfacing towards internal stakeholders in business and IT and external suppliers at technical, project and management levels
• Good social skills and the ability to transfer technical details into business understanding is important for success in the position
• You will also work from time to time as a member of our on-call ring, estimated 6-8 times a year. On-call work is compensated additionally, and it requires being available 24/7

Our ambition is to ensure reliable systems through the security value chain. Technology Information Security Office in Group Technology ensures that Cyber security services are provided according to the priority within Group Technology. We also play an important role in communicating security incidents and risks in our area to higher management. You will be located in Taastrup, Denmark.

We expect you have experience from IT operations and the Cyber security area and a strong ability to communicate with stakeholders.   

Your profile and background:

• A University degree is appreciated; however, to excel in this position you must have a keen interest in Cyber security and be able to see the wider context of things
• You have proven experience in working with security in IT platforms and IT production and infrastructure solutions. Being familiar in how CSIRTs work is a plus
• We expect you to have experience from at least some of the following areas: Initiation of response and incident escalation. Incident coordination. Threat validation and threat hunting. Stakeholder management. Mentoring of junior staff. Investigation of tickets created by tier 1 Cyber Threat Monitoring
• Additionally, we expect you to have long experience from and understanding of IT and IT Security. Good experience from IT security incident management is a given. You have as part of your previous career established a professional network within the IT security area. You are naturally interested in updating yourself on the latest security threats and trends. You are able to explain risks and threats and suggest cost-effective mitigation measures to different stakeholders. You always see the wider context of things and think about the total risk for the bank
• Fluency in the English language is a requirement. To be an integral part of a diverse and distributed team, it is also expected that you are self-initiating, an excellent team player, work with integrity and are able to support your colleagues
• As the team is Nordic, some traveling in the Nordics is required
