Can you create a strategic sourcing approach to optimise procurement activities and drive value within our business-critical exploration and production activities? Join us and become Contract Manager in Exploration & Production Procurement where you will join a team of around 30 committed procurement professionals managing procurement activities ranging from subsea exploration, well construction and production operations to offshore platform construction projects. You will be part of our category management section, managing sourcing activities to implement strategic category objectives. The department is a part of Exploration & Production which has 700 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. We explore for and produce oil and natural gas. Today, our activities are centred in the seas off Denmark, Norway and the United Kingdom, and we have an ambitious strategy with many exciting projects in the pipeline. You will be based at our office in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in Northern Europe in relation to your work. Your key duties will be to •conduct market analyses •develop and execute sourcing strategies •drive efficiencies and value improvements •secure DONG Energy's focus on safety with our suppliers. Furthermore, you will be responsible for managing the business unit's existing contract portfolio within certain categories, engaging with stakeholders across the business unit. In collaboration with the category manager, you will plan and source contracts for new requirements. You will support supplier relationship management and supplier performance management programmes established with key contractors. Your qualifications and core competences include that you •have experience of sourcing projects from a procurement function or similar relevant experience •are a determined negotiator of commercial and contractual terms and conditions •are able to build and maintain strong stakeholder relations •are able to work under tight deadlines on multiple tasks •have strong communications skills and proficiency in written and spoken English at business level.
