As a Commercial Excellence Manager you will be responsible for driving the commercial excellence processes and supporting systems in Maersk Drilling, helping the commercial teams to optimize their sales efforts and utilizing resources in the best possible way. You will in an international environment be in close contact with internal and external stakeholders giving you the opportunity to build a strong network across functions and develop your personal and professional skills even more. Key Responsibilities To drive the commercial excellence process, your job functions will primarily consist of the following: • Act as trusted advisor to the commercial teams and management by providing sales coaching and insights • Drive continuous development of the CRM system in close coordination with the commercial managers • Conduct sales management meeting cadence • Conduct sales and pipeline analysis • Develop and maintain governance for use of the CRM system and ensure alignment with other relevant commercial processes • Drive continuous improvement of sales and bid process, sales capabilities and tools and supporting systems • Support budget, strategy and investment planning • Help to ensure process alignment between commercial, operations, finance and legal departments at Maersk Drilling. Who we are looking for The right candidate for the position as Commercial Excellence Manager, should possess all or most of the following qualifications: • Hold a master’s degree within business or economics, or have gained similar expertise through work experience • Have held positions within sales, account management and/or sales operations • Be confident as a trusted advisor, eg. by having worked several years in management consulting or similar. • Have experience with CRM systems (preferably MS Dynamics) and be able to translate commercial processes into system requirements. • Be analytical and structured. • Be an outgoing team player and an excellent communicator. • Be proactive and able to get things done in a timely manner. • Be fluent in MS excel and MS PowerPoint For further information, please contact: Morten Pilnov, +45 3363 3205.
