For our Technical Functions Department within our Offshore R&D organization and based in Brande, Denmark we are looking for a dedicated Certification Expert. 

The team is part of the leading R&D Offshore product platform, leading all product certification activities from a project management and system integration point of view. You will be working with tasks of high technical complexity and with products & technologies in all parts of the wind turbine, and you will have the possibility to be a part of making a significant difference for the generations of wind turbines to come.

What are my responsibilities?
As a Certification Expert you will have to support the compliance of Siemens products and new technologies to relevant codes & standards. More specifically, your work assignments will cover: 

·  Leading wind turbine development from a compliance point of view in close collaboration with turbine experts

·  Acting as consultant for technology teams in terms of certification questions

·  Witnessing safety & function tests, turbine validation campaigns and manufacturing evaluations

·  Negotiating the interpretation of codes & standard with domestic and foreign authorities

·  Represent Siemens’ interests in standard committees internationally

·  Standardization of certification procedures internally and towards authorities

·  Drive functional competence development in the team

·  Support the full implementation of type certificates into relevant sales projects

·  Standardize and improve processes and tools within the certification department 

What do I need to qualify for this job?
·  You have a degree in engineering, preferably within mechanicals or civil, combined with minimum 5 years of experience working in an R&D or Engineering environment

·  Experiences with wind turbine design and certification will be an advantage

·  You have experience with product development processes and system integration across various technical/functional areas and technologies

·  You have project management experience, and you have a structured, thorough and compliant approach to your tasks  - also under time pressure

·  You are dedicated, curious and service-minded as well as detail and quality oriented

·  You are empathic and you thrive in a multi-cultural environment

·  You possess excellent communication skills as this role communicate both internally and externally with many interfaces and authorities

·  You are fluent in English both orally and in writing
