We are looking for a candidate with strong analytical skills who wants to work in a complex environment where both business and technology is a fast changing market. The position we offer We are currently implementing a new vendor system for collateral management which has a close relationship with our Repo and Securities Lending system from the same vendor. We are looking for a developer who can work on both systems. In the beginning it will mainly be on the Repo and Securities Lending system. You will over time get more involved on the technical part of the implementation of the collateral system. Your primary tasks will be programming against the vendor systems API and against Nordea APIs, data mapping, develop/maintain SQL scripts, manage ETL jobs, manage batch job plans, integration to other IT components, problem resolution, develop automated tests and configuration management. Our team consists of both analysts and developer working on 6 business critical systems. We are very focused on agile development methods and continuous delivery. We currently use the Scrum methodology and Jira for sprint and task management. Automated testing and good code quality are key aspects of this which are very important to us. The qualifications you need You are a team player who has good C++ and Java skills, SQL experience, good analytical skills and a natural drive to deliver. Experience with ETL tools and automated testing are an advantage. You must also have good communication skills, as we are working with many different stakeholders in several countries including our offshore centres. The part of the capital markets domain we support is complex. Therefore a good understanding of it is needed in order to be able to deliver.
