Global Service/ Supply Chain Operations/ Procurement North You will be a part of Supply Chain Operations which within Vestas Wind Systems is designed to support the Vestas Sales Business Units and their end customers. Our scope is to provide a globally competitive advantage for Vestas in aftermarket services that can support wind turbine sales in a strong manner. Given the dynamics of the aftermarket and our dedicated wish to claim leadership in that market you will join a fast paced environment with a strong growth potential. Operations are responsible for procurement, warehousing, repair operations, distribution, and support in connection with spare parts and services globally in the Vestas organization. Responsibilities You will be a part of the team which handles urgent cases. This includes: Purchasing material and inventory control Handling of purchase orders and order confirmations Daily contact with suppliers of components Working closely together and coordinate with Planning, Quality and Global Category team to manage supplier performance and optimize supply chain. Coordination with internal and external warehouses and maintain item warehouse files Qualifications The most important thing is your personality, your drive to succeed and your learning-by-doing attitude. However it will be preferred if you have: A relevant educational background within supply chain management, procurement, logistics or similar Relevant experience from a student job, internship or a couple of years in a similar position Great English skills (fluent both oral and written) Knowledge of MS-office and ERP-systems (preferably SAP) Competencies Strong team player that thrives on constantly being in dialog with your coworkers to find solutions Proactive attitude where no questions is too small or big A strong sense of ownership and responsibility for you tasks and team success Systematic and strong coordination skills What we offer We offer a challenging job with excellent opportunities for vocational and personal development at the world’s leading wind turbine manufacturer.
