We are looking for a talented Business Controller to support VERO MODAs Retail Department in our expected future growth.    

The department  
You become part of our international department of Business Controlling and Analysis, who are responsible for performance analyses, development of and follow-up on performance reporting, making optimization proposals as well as ensuring the implementation of decided initiatives.    

The job  
As Business Controller, your primary responsibility will be reporting and performance analyses. You work closely with your colleagues in the Vero Moda Retail Business Development to ensure that reports and analyses always reflect the business, thus creating the best foundation for decision-making and follow-up on performance. You will have a broad interface, both locally at HQ level in Aarhus as well as internationally in our local retail markets. At the same time, you have a continuous focus on optimizing the business through analysis of data.    

More specifically, your job includes:  

  • Budgeting in regards of new store opening, evaluating partners KPIs, agreements etc.  
  • Monitoring, analysing and reporting of relevant KPIs related to sales performance, buying activities and revenue  
  • Supporting the organisation and the board with various reporting tasks  
  • Cost Controlling.  

Profile
You are outgoing and good at developing relations, enabling you to establish good working relationships with various internal partners. You have an analytic and innovative approach to your work, which makes you able to spot new solutions.  
With the department’s goals and deadlines constantly in mind, you work determinedly with great focus on solving all tasks in the best possible way.  
You are characterized by a structured and detail-oriented work effort, and you are able to establish a natural credibility of your function.  
You have strong communication skills and are able to convey complex situations and problems in easily understandable and clear way.      

Qualifications  

  • Education within finance or Auditing, e.g. graduate in Economics (cand.merc/cand.oecon/HD) or equivalent  
  • Excellent skills in Excel  
  • Solid business understanding  
  • Analytic mind-set as well as solid numeracy  
  • Experience from similar position is an advantage, but not a demand.
